How to enhance your assets!
Going out on the town and wish you had a little more cleavage to show off? Or just going out for lunch with friends and wished you appeared a little "fuller"?
Going out on the town and wish you had a little more cleavage to show off? Or just going out for lunch with friends and wished you appeared a little "fuller"?
Well - we all know how makeup can change the way you look; enhance your best features, but did you know it can also give you the look of more cleavage?
This trick is simple and easy to use. Here is what you will need:
-first and foremost... a push up bra!
-a contouring brush (or a simple blush brush would work)
-facepowder one or two shades darker than your skin (if you don't have this you can use eyeshadow that is darker than you skin)
-facepowder a shade lighter than your natural skin tone (again you can use a highlighting eyeshadow)
-bronzer (this is optional)
Now lets get to the good stuff - how to apply!
First, make sure that your chest area is clean (just as you would before applying makeup to your face).
Push up bra time - this will help you with placement of the makeup colors.
Take your brush and apply the lighter facepowder/eyeshadow between your breasts using long sweeping strokes in an up and down motion.
Now take the brush and using the darker color apply to your upper cleavage area. Start from the middle of your breasts and extend up and around in an arching fashion. Make sure that you bring the color to the inside edge of where your clothing will be as you don't want anyone seeing the lines of your makeup. Use back and forth motions when applying this. Go back and bring the color down around your breast to the highlighted area in the centre (use a very light hand in this area)
Go back to the lighter shade and highlight just above and below the darker color - bring back down to the highlighted area between your breasts.
Now you can apply a bit of bronzer all over is you wish.
Remember the key to this look is blending! Blend, blend and blend! You don't want your enhancement to look obvious.
This look is difficult to master for some and may not work out on your first try, so practise and before you know it, it will be a quick and simple tool to use.
I hope you enjoyed today's beauty tip!
XO Sarah
